0:44Now PlayingCloudburst and heavy rains broke havoc in Uttarakhand’s Munsayari district. The heavy rains have outraged damages for many locals residing in those areas. Currently, three people are dead and six others are missing. Five houses were damaged and livestock was washed away in Munsyari's Chhoribagar village after heavy monsoon rains which eventually led to the overflow of Gori River.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh commanded authorities that there should be no laxity in the rescue operations. He has also asked that the relief must be provided to the affected people. Two state disaster management authorities are currently engaged in the review and rescue operations.
