2:23Now PlayingA mockery of sealing norms has been seen in Bengaluru. The Bengaluru Mahanagarpalika has sealed building using tin sheets where COVID cases have emerged. This action was opposed after which these sheets were taken down. This has aroused feelings of anger among the people living in the building. It has been found that two children, as well as a senior citizen, reside in that building.
Neha informs Mirror Now that the house was sealed due to the presence of COVID positive patients around it. However, this move by the civic body is callous and insensitive. Rules have not been followed by the civic bodies. After a video going viral on Twitter which was put by a resident of the building, voicing concerns as to emergencies or ration for the sealed house, these sheets were taken down. The BBMP government has issued a show-cause notice to the engineer.
