Thane Municipal Corporation has suspended the license of a hospital allegedly for charging inflated bills. The license of Horizon Prime Hospital has been suspended for a month. An audit that was conducted by the civic body reveals that the hospital had overcharged up to Rs 6 lakh and around 56 bills have been made in the name of the hospital. Thane Municipal Corporation has also cancelled the status of the hospital for COVID treatment and it has assigned two officials to monitor the remaining patients admitted.
