In Kerala, a patient was not allowed to be cremated and the crematorium entrance was blocked by crowds. While in Gujurat, an ambulance carrying a COVID patient was not allowed to pass when he was being taken to a healthcare facility.
Crowds gave the excuse of rising COVID cases around their areas for the block. The scare for the spread of the virus due to cremation of COVID positive patient caused people to come in large numbers on the road and protest against the same in Kerala. 13 people have been arrested in Gujurat for blocking ambulance. The police are trying to make the people understand.
