One hospital in Thane lost their license due to overcharged and inflated bills. More hospitals are brought under the scanner. The Kalyan Dombivli Civic body has received four complaints. Many hospitals are trying to exploit this situation amid the Coronavirus pandemic and nationwide lockdown. It is reported that the Kalyan Dombivli region is the worst affected region in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. There are around 25 private hospitals in the city which is specifically treating COVID patients.
