Bihar's DGP Gupteshwar Pandey has backed IPS Officer Vinay Tiwari by lashing out at Mumbai civic body BMC and Mumbai police. The war between the Mumbai police and Bihar police has now intensified.

DGP Gupteshwar Panday stated that the IPS officer's forceful quarantine was not justified and the treatment of Bihar police in the investigation has been impolite.
