MS Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, on Saturday, took to Instagram and announced his retirement from international cricket. With this, he brought down curtains on a near 16-year-long storied career as one of the country’s greatest limited-overs cricketers. Having won three ICC trophies - 2007 T20 World Cup, 50-over World Cup in 2011, and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy- the only captain to do so, fans have poured their heartfelt wishes for the 39-year-old cricketer. At Shivaji Park in Dadar, young fans remember him as someone who was captain cool, had a balanced game. They say they would learn cricket watching him play.

Cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, Sandeep Patil, Ajit Agarkar, and Manjrekar have played here.

Fans recollect Dhoni as the captain cool, for his helicopter shot and his wicket keeping. He will be remembered as the best captain for the Indian cricket team.
