A war of words has erupted on Twitter between Congress’ Rahul Gandhi and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. This happened after Rahul Gandhi put out a tweet saying that the BJP and the RSS are controlling social media platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp. He, in fact, quoted an article of the Wall Street Journal which points out that these social media platforms are being controlled by the ruling parties.

A quick response came in hitting back at Rahul Gandhi Ravi Shankar Prasad. The Union Minister claimed that ‘Rahul can’t influence his own party. Congress also tried to weaponise data for polls’.
