3:17Now PlayingNCB has seized a Mercedes from one of the accused in the case, Karamjeet Singh. Karamjeet Singh is accused of having a drug distribution channel in Bollywood. As per NCB, he used to supply drugs to Bollywood personalities. As per NCB, the agency has the power to seize any asset (movable and immovable) within 06 years of the crime. The NCB has this power under its financial investigation leg.
As far as this vehicle is concerned, as per NCB, they are investigating if this vehicle is a sale proceed of drugs or was this ever used by the accused while conducting the crime. In other developments, NCB has made two more arrests in its case investigating Bollywood drug cartel.
One accused is Chris Costa who was arrested in Goa and brought to Mumbai. Another accused is Suryadeep Malhotra who is Showik's school friend. NCB is yet to clarify their exact roles.
Accused Chris Costa is produced in Sessions court for a remand hearing. Suryadeep Malhotra is produced in Esplanade court via video conferencing.
