3:22Now PlayingHeated arguments take place over NEET on the second day of the Tamil Nadu Assembly. Opposition leader MK Stalin raised questions on NEET, demanded that resolution should be passed against Center for not providing exemption to Tamil Nadu.
However, replying to it, CM Edappadi K Palaniswami questioned back whether DMK was part of Congress government when NEET was passed in the parliament. He also asks why DMK didn't oppose it then! Amidst this, the speaker ordered Marshals to evict Congress MLAs after a ruckus broke out in the Assembly.
AIADMK MLA Inbadurai stated that all efforts to scrap NEET were thwarted after Congress leader Nalini Chidambaram appeared in Supreme Court in favour of NEET exam. Congress MLAs demanded that Inbadurai's allegations should be sponged out of Assembly records. After all this, Congress MLAs staged a walkout. CM EPS speaking again blamed DMK for the death of 13 Medical aspirants whose death were attributed to NEET, claiming DMK has committed a historical blunder.
