To give a detailed and simplified view of the mutual funds, Avni Raja is joined by Feroze Azeez, Deputy CEO at Anand Rathi. There are about 450 equity mutual funds, out of which only 5-7 are picked by an investor, the filtering is the first thing that has to be done. The first filter according to Feroze Azeez is to go to those AMC who have more than Rs 300 CR equity assets which are being managed by the company. The second filter should be that of the scheme size, which impacts the cost.
