He stated that the demolition was not pre-planned but a sudden move. All accused have been acquitted. The Babri Masjid in Ayodhya was demolished on 6 December 1992 and after almost 28 years, a much-awaited verdict is finally spelt out.
32 political personalities, many from BJP were accused in the case. The list included LK Advani, Professor Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Katiyar, Sakshi Maharaj, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders Ashok Singhal, Giriraj Kishore, Vishnu Hari Dalmiya and Sadhvi Rithambara, Shiv Sena’s Balasaheb Thackeray and more.
