3:05Now PlayingMirror Now's Aarti Subramaniam speaks on the Shaheen Bagh verdict which was given by the Supreme Court yesterday. Shaheen Bagh protests were the epicentre of the Anti-CAA protests. There was a dharna which had taken place from December 2019 to March 2020.
Supreme Court gave a verdict earlier yesterday, said protests can take place peacefully but obstruction of roads is wrong. The government can take necessary action in case the protestors try to obstruct roads. The protests though democratically correct, cannot cause inconvenience to the people. The debate between the right to protest vs the right to mobility has finally come to an end.
