1:46Now PlayingHaryana Job Quota Bill: The State Assembly has a passed the job quota bill where in the locals of the state would be given 75% reservation in private jobs that offer salary under Rs. 50,000. Acccording to the bill, 10% hirings from district where the company is based and 65% recruitment from the other districts.
The quota will be applied initially for a period of 10 years. The bill covers private companies, societies and trusts. Training would be provided to the eligible local candidates. This quota was a poll promise by BJP ally Jannayak Janta Party. The bill passed by the State Assembly awaits the Governor's nod.
