Now, the center has stepped in and the Health Ministry has directed the Delhi government to conduct the right combination of the types of coronavirus testing i.e., RT-PCR and antigen testing. In the past one week, 65% of positive cases were detected in the capital city. Delhi has been fighting the pollution crisis which is also seen as one of the reasons for the spike in COVID deaths in the state for the past few months.
