The question now raised here is will she be released after this payment? RTI reports say this may lead to her walking out of prison by January 2021, the 3rd week itself, and if not done then she will be released on the fixed date that is in the month of February 2021. This move will bring a lot of changes not only to the case but also in Tamil Nadu politics as well with the release of Sasikala ahead of upcoming state elections.
