A man identified as Mohsin Talukder, accused the cricketer of blasphemy. Shakib had attended a Kali Puja in Kolkata post which the man threatened him for hurting Muslim sentiments. He went on to say that he would cut Shakib into pieces by a chopper. The police have arrested Mohsin Talukder. However, Shakib made a public apology due to the increasing fuel in this case. He clarified that he attended the puja briefly but did not inaugurate the puja mandap.
