6:03Now PlayingA new form of COVID-19 testing will be soon available in India. A team of doctors led by Dr Maithi and Dr Debojyoti Chakraborty have developed the Feluda strip test to examine and detect the Coronavirus pandemic. The virus can be detected on the strip, one line indicates negative while two lines mean positive.
What makes Feluda test unique is that is can be performed in small mobile labs and is likely to be cheaper than the current RT-PCR test. Feluda can also help in scaling the COVID-19 test and the results can be provided within 40 minutes. The test is approved by ICMR and certified by DCGI.
