The main focus of the meeting is on Oxford's AstraZeneca vaccine which has been developed in India by the Serum Institute. The Oxford vaccine has already been approved for emergency use in the UK. The panel will also be considering Bharat Biotech's Covaxin and Pfizer's vaccine. With this India is believed to get its first vaccine for roll out in 2021.
