3:27Now PlayingAn expert panel committee was set up by the Central government in order to review the three vaccines, which were seeking emergency use authorization nod. The expert panel gave conditional approval to the Oxford and Serum Institute's Covishield and the same recommendation is now going to go to the Drug Controller General of India. Final approval is however expected soon for the COVID vaccine for India. The mass vaccination drive will begin in India a few days from now. A vaccine drive dry-run will take place across all states and Union Territories today, in order to identify the challenges in the inoculation drive, and the mega roll-out will begin then. Several locations have been fixed today for the dry-run.
