Opposition parties have comes out and slammed the Central Government for approving Covaxin even before its third phase. Following the attacks, a massive political war is being witnessed between BJP and its rivals.
On approval given to Bharat Biotech's Covaxin, Dr D. Roy, Former Deputy Drugs Controller says that ‘The expert committee has definitely examined all the data & after getting satisfaction on this data they have given clearance’.
While, Dr Virander Singh Chauhan, Emeritus Professor, International Centre for Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology, says that ‘I have deep trust in our regulatory system. I cannot imagine them not having looked at additional data’.
