1:03Now PlayingThe UP Police arrested Mohit Goel, the entrepreneur known for preparing the launch of the infamous 'Freedom 251' phones, on Sunday night near Meghdootam Parke in Sector 51, Noida. According to the UP Police, Goel has been charged with defrauding many dry fruit traders for a total amount of about Rs 200 crore. Goel was arrested on Sunday along with five others.
Goel ran a company out of Corenthum, a premier office complex in Sector 62, Noida, named Dubai Dry Fruits and Spices Centre. The police said they had received at least 40 written fraud complaints from traders in Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and several other states against the company.
