The Politician recently returned to Chennai after her release from the prison and has been in news since. The AIADMK Deputy coordinator Munuswamy went on to hint that the party might extend a hand of welcome to Sasikala and her nephew, however senior leader of AIADMK contradicted and denied this statement and claimed that no such invitations or affiliations will be made. This reportedly has started a tussle amongst the party members.
M Bharath, Associate Editor, News Today said that Sasikala is expecting AIADMK to fair badly and after the elections are over, she will try to take claim.
C. Rajashekaran, Founder-Voice of TN however points out that whether anyone likes it or not, 90 percent of AIADMK members are hand-picked, selected, nominated and appointed by Sasikala. He also adds that they need a united AIADMK, to fight the might of DMK, Sasikala should be brought back.
