The income tax department has been issuing notices to various directors and producers related to Phantom films who replied saying that the whole production house has already been dissolved in 2018.
The production house was shelved in 2018 but the producers such as Madhu Mantena, Vikas Bahl, and Anurag Kashyap have been sharing the later profits and have not paid the taxes.
Therefore, the IT department raided on particular celebrities, and as the sources reveal the production house is still under the department’s surveillance.
