11:16Now PlayingThe number of COVID cases are rising across the country, and the state of Maharashtra is the worst hit as it battles a massive surge in the case of coronavirus, reporting 15,817 fresh cases yesterday in 24 hours. 56 people died of the illness in the last 24 hours. Last month, the state had reported 6,000 daily coronavirus cases after a lull of three months. The state government has announced lockdown and night curfew in several districts with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray warning of complete lockdown if cases continue to rise. Out of 36 districts of Maharashtra, 10 are witnessing a sharp spike in daily Covid-19 cases and eight have been put under lockdown, night curfew and other strict restrictions. Watch!
