2:39Now PlayingThe Central Government has hit out at the Maharashtra Government’s demand for more COVID-19 vaccine doses. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has claimed that 56% of the Coronavirus vaccine doses are still unused in Maharashtra.
While citing the Central team’s report, Javadekar took a jibe at the Uddhav Government saying that there was a mismanagement of the pandemic and now there is poor administration on the vaccines available in the state as well.
This attack comes in after Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray requested the Central Government for 20 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccines. Meanwhile, Maharashtra has currently contributed over 60% of the total active cases across the country.
