The Centre has surprisingly categorized this project under the essentials list which has raised many doubts. This shows how covid-19 is spreading way beyond metro cities and infecting even small towns. Among which Opposition also calls a criminal waste as this is the least of out nation's priority or concerns right now. Adding to this Sanjay Hegde, Senior Advocate, SC states that we considered the Kumbh Mela essential but we had to stop it, then we considered IPL essential but it was stopped too, Now the Central Vista is being considered essential by the Govt and we don't know why it can't be paused for 6-8 weeks.
