Sandhya, his wife, was referred to a Covid-19 hospital in Agra by a Firozabad hospital where she was being treated at the time. After testing positive for Covid-19, Ramgopal Lodhi was admitted to Om Hospital in Firozabad. As a result, he was unable to accompany his wife to Agra. He said that his inability to secure a bed for his wife in a government hospital despite being an MLA demonstrated how bad the situation must be for the general public.
