On several days, millions of impoverished people are forced to go to sleep without even a morsel of food due to the massive lockdown and COVID-19 crisis. At a time when the hunger crisis is escalating, a group of good Samaritans in Kolkata and a teen in Mumbai have decided to do their part to mitigate the damage. Arjun Deshpande, entrepreneur, said that each and every person or a family which is COVID-19 positive are struggling to get the essentials. This is e comes in and helps people.
Rafay Siddiqui, social activist, said that his team was initially a group of 20 to 30 people and had to distribute food to around 300 to 400 people every day.
