The Delhi High Court heard a plea filed by DMA against Baba Ramdev and stated that Baba Ramdev's averments were just an opinion and plea should be tested on the anvil of right to Free Speech. The Indian Medical Association urged for strict action against Baba Ramdev, while the Health Ministry stated that Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev had shown maturity after retracting his statement. Further, Baba Ramdev's supporters stated that the statement was taken out of context.
Allopathy does not run on the whims and fancies of a baba or anybody else; it's a well-founded system practised worldwide, and during the pandemic, people have been saved following this, states DMA President VK Monga.
