The four-day strike was deemed "illegal" by the HC. On Thursday, about 3,000 junior doctors from the state's six government medical colleges resigned en masse and handed in their resignations to the deans of their various colleges. Junior doctors have made a number of demands to the state administration, including a raise in their stipend and free care for themselves and their families if they get the deadly coronavirus.
