as posted by the channelThe state has decided to implement further restrictions from June 5 to 9 in order to reduce the Covid test positive rate. Commercial establishments that have been granted permission to operate will be able to do so from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday. From Saturday to Wednesday, they will be closed. During this time, only shops providing critical goods, supplies for industrial establishments, and construction supplies will be permitted to open. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan offered many ways to cut the TPR at a high-level meeting on Covid control on Thursday. From June 10, government and quasi-government offices, PSUs, Corporations, and Commissions shall operate with half-staff. They were supposed to start on June 7th, but were postponed.
