as posted by the channelThe latest development in the new vaccination policy for India, the Centre has fixed the maximum price for the private hospitals that they can charge for the COVID vaccines. The price of Covishield has been fixed at Rs 780 a dose, Russian vaccine Sputnik V is said to cost Rs 1,145 per dose and indigenously made Covaxin to cost Rs 1,410 a dose.
This includes taxes as well as a 150-rupee service charge for the hospitals. The prices have been revised after Centre revamped the vaccine policy.
The Centre on the other hand has asked the states to not allow private hospitals to levy more than Rs 150 as a service charge.
The state governments have marked been asked to monitor the private hospitals regularly and take strict action against those overcharging for jabs. Watch the video to know more!
