Per the CBSE’s latest announcement, the evaluation criteria for the class student’s board results will be based on a 30:30:40 formula. As per this criteria, the students will be marked based on 30% scores of class 10th, 30% scores of class 11th & 40% scores of class 12th Internal evaluation. This has been a big break and relief for students who look forward to their plans. However, many students have come forward with their doubts. The big question now is that has the CBSE given excess weightage to class 11th final results. Meanwhile, Avnita Bir, Director-Principal, RN Podar School, Mumbai, shares her views on this evaluation criteria stating that historically, class11 has never been a good year for students. But, she adds that now considering those marks is a little unfair, but we have no other choice.
