According to The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), children have been using proxy servers to play PUBG, increasing during the Covid Pandemic. Earlier NIMHANS received about 4-5 cases of online addiction, which has now expanded to 10-12 patients per week, out of which five are of PUBG. The addiction has the worst effects on young minds. Avoided family vigilance and interference has made the children vulnerable to online addiction. NIMHANS says that it's a challenge for the parents to remove the child's addiction to the game.
