5:31Now PlayingThe latest developments in regards to the mega vaccination scam in Mumbai are now coming to light. The Financial Capital of India was the first city to report starting of vaccination drives and camps for the citizens in the housing societies buildings. The scam first came to light when a residential society Hiranandani located in Mumbai's Kandivali reported the fake vaccination drive. The residents of the society claimed that they were administered fake vaccine doses and the fraudsters claimed to be associated with the KokilaBen Hospital. The hospital issued a clarification in this regard and stated no such drives were organised.
Further, a housing society reported that they were duped for Rs 4 Lakh by the gang and the fraudsters promised to give the vaccination certificate 15 days after administering the doses.
