Recently, the government had released a statement claiming that they’ll be vaccinating 50 percent of the total population of India by December 2021. However, now the latest projections state otherwise. A significant fall in the covid-19 vaccine supply is being witnessed, contrary to what was claimed. The government has cut the supply target for August-December and is looking into the low covaxin supply as the vaccines supplied in Jan-May were lower than targeted. The big question is whether the government be able to fulfill its deadline or not.
