13:58Now PlayingThe country slowly returns to a state of normalcy, and the implications of the second wave of coronavirus subside; on Thursday, Kerala reported 13 cases of mosquito-borne viral infection Zika virus for the first time. Reportedly, the first case of Zika virus involves a 24-year-old pregnant woman in Thiruvananthapuram, following which samples of 13 persons suspected to be positive for Zika virus have been sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune. As of now, health officials have said that the woman's condition is stable and that she delivered her baby on June 7. The health secretary's comments came even as Tamil Nadu squeezed the vigil onward its decoration with Kerala to check the measure of the disease.
