Mansukh Mandaviya, the Health Minister, said the government had spoken to vaccine makers and instructed them to stop reserving 25% of doses for the private sector. The commercial sector will now receive the volume for which it placed an order, while the government will receive the remaining dosages. This comes in light of the private sector contributing just 7 per cent to the country's vaccination for the past two-and-a-half-months.
