Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Taliban have not yet commented on the accusation. But Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the media houses have been closed due to the spike in violence and the group cannot ask them to resume their work amid all these.
In July, Indian Photo Journalist Danish Siddiqui, 38, was on assignment for Reuters in Afghanistan when he was killed. The official spokesperson of the Afghan National Defence and Security Forces gave the first official confirmation that Danish Siddiqui was captured and later executed.
