4:34Now PlayingAn oil spill was noticed at Mumbai’s Juhu beach yesterday however today’s high tide made it more prominent. A cleaning drive in the region, by Mumbai’s civic body, is underway. The source of the spill is not mentioned by the Indian post guard or any other marine authority. The sand, anywhere from 5 to 7 kilometers has turned black due to the oil spill, is being collected in tractors as part of the cleaning drive. BMC workers working there were seen not wearing gloves which makes it hazardous for their own safety. This clean-up will be one long and tiresome process. Stay tuned for further updates
