The PM announced that beneficiaries will get the first refill and a hotplate free of cost along with the LPG connections. He handed over LPG connections to women beneficiaries in Mahoba during a virtual event today. Earlier, he had tweeted, 'Ujjwala 1.0 was launched in May 2016. Since its launch, it has ensured life of dignity to our citizens, especially women. In August 2019, the target of 8 crore connections was completed 7 months before the decided time frame.'
