4:20Now PlayingThe Union Health Ministry has accepted that some deaths took place due to lack of oxygen in Andhra Pradesh while India was facing the deadly second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. The Ministry stated, "As per state government of Andhra Pradesh's communication dated 9th August 2021, on 10th May, at Sri Venkateswara Ramnarayan Ruia Hospital, some patients who were on ventilator support died while undergoing treatment for Covid-19." This comes weeks after the MoS Pawar had denied any death due to oxygen shortage as reported by states. The Union Health Ministry has written a letter to states and Union Territories specifically asking about the deaths due to a shortage of oxygen. Watch!
