A complaint was filed by the Former Mumbai Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh, accusing Deshmukh of corruption charges. Eknath Khadse's statement to the Enforcement Directorate has now been accessed, which has revealed Anil Deshmukh's alleged role in the land scam case as well, further highlighting the loans that Anil Deshmukh took from private banks. It is also being reported that Anil Deshmukh has been issued summons but he is yet to face the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in the case.
