The bill was passed with a full majority in the Lok Sabha with 385 votes in the favour of the bill. Amid the ongoing ruckus in the Parliament over the Pegasus and Farm laws, the OBC bill was passed with a full majority. This comes ahead of the state polls, the opposition extended their support in passing the bill, without creating any ruckus on the floor of the house. All eyes are now on the Rajya Sabha, where the bill will be presented for approval. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor commented on the OBC Bill issue.
