Days after reopening the malls, several of the malls have now closed their shutters again after a new order was issued by the Maharashtra government. Maharashtra Health Ministry has now added in its guidelines for the mall staff to be fully vaccinated. While the government has come out and defended their decision of getting the staff fully vaccinated, the malls association has now come out to call out the decision, stating that they are losing out on the festive season. Rajesh Tope, Health Minister of Maharashtra has called this a well-intended order, further admitting that the decision of getting the staff fully vaccinated was not included in the previous order.
