The Trinamool Congress came into power once again after the tight competition with the national party BJP and shortly after the results, major violence was witnessed over there. Several petitions were moved to state HC regarding the case earlier this year alleging widespread post-poll violence in the state of West Bengal after Trinamool return to power.
