8:32Now PlayingA day after being evacuated from Taliban-held Kabul to Dushanbe, India returned 78 individuals, including 25 of its citizens and a handful of Afghan Sikhs and Hindus. On Monday, a military transport plane of the Indian Air Force flew the party from Kabul to Dushanbe, carrying three copies of the Sikh scripture Guru Granth Sahib. Since August 16, when the first group was flown from Kabul, a day after the Taliban seized control of the Afghan capital city, the number of individuals transported back to Delhi has surpassed 800.
