2:39Now PlayingIndia has intensified its evacuation process in Afghanistan and 78 evacuees were brought back to India on August 24th from Kabul. However, it is now being reported that 16 people have tested positive for COVID-19. All the 78 evacuees are now under quarantine at a centre in Delhi. It is also being reported that Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri also came in contact with the evacuees after he reached Delhi Airport to bring back three Swaroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib from Kabul. Mirror Now's correspondent Alok Singh reports that all these COVID positive evacuees are asymptomatic.
