The petition has no say in the case as he is only a witness & no locus standi in opposing the further investigation. The Madras High Court refused to issue a stay order on the murder and heist case in Kodanad, which is an 800-acre summer estate of late J Jayalalithaa. The High court further says that the witness is not an accused and as far as the investigation officer is concerned, the investigation officer can bring as much evidence.
